Shapes is a party curated by Khalil that has become a much loved fixture of New York City’s nightlife. Launched in the fall of 2016 in the basement of the now closed (and very much missed) Louie & Chan by Khalil & Yellowtech, the party has grown and evolved over the years and now takes place regularly at SNS Bar, Soho House and various locations across the city. Shapes embraces the international diversity of New York City bringing people from around the world to party together as one. Musicaly, the party is a reflection of Khalil’s taste and influences and moves freely between Hip Hop to RnB and Soul, Dancehall to Afrobeats, and through variations of House and Dance music from around the world. Previous guests include Questlove, Mayer Hawthorne, DJ Tunez, MNDSGN, Donae’o, Moma, Alewya, Vashtie, SoSuperSam, Stretch Armstrong, Rich Medina, Kitty Cash, Skratch Bastid, and Yeti Out amongst many others, bringing together the best of NYC, alongside countless DJs from around the world.

entry is free for Soho House members. If you’re not a member, but know a Soho House member, they can walk you. Failing that, we have a small non member guestlist. A link to guestlist requests is sent in Khalil’s email blast. There’s usually some annoying hoops to jump through, or stupid riddle to answer
